Lazarus #7, Richard Sale (Signed First Edition)
Published by Simon and Schuster, 1942. First edition. Signed by Richard Sale on front end page.
Hardcover, with jacket. Tattered jacket, with a large open tear to jacket spine. Jacket now in Mylar. Rubbing to board edges, corners bumped. Small water stain to top page edges, some smudging to end pages. Text is clean and unmarked, light toning to pages. Binding strong. Moderate wear.
Lazarus #7 was praised by Raymond Chandler as a descendent of Dashiell Hammett's realistic style. Overall a good first edition, with a very rare and hard to find signature. Additional photos available upon request.
